The service started in August 2008

We became part of Hampshire Young Carers Alliance later in 2008

We initially had one member of staff and one year of funding to identify young carers in the New Forest and see if there was a need for support

Since then the team expanded and we now work with an average of 200 young carers every year, offering thousands of hours of respite and support.
